"a light designed from readily-available, standard parts, combined with solid black walnut and a soft, fabric cord. this project was an experiment in using pre-made parts, and the entire piece is easily disassembled/reassembled, constructed with magnets and press-fit components. the overly luminous fluorescent light is juxtaposed with, polished, elegant materials to create new associations and applications for an industrial product."

fantastiskt fina lampor av arik levy för forestier. jag gillar kombinationen av den enkla linjeteckningen av metallstommen ihop med skärmen. något jag inte verkar tröttna på är papperslikande-ris-lampor. papper är ett fantastiskt material på alla sätt och vis. strukturen, skörheten och det fina ljusgenomsläppet. på tal om papper, naoto fukasawas papperskollektion siwa för japanska onao. inte lampor, men andra fina ting.

helt fantastisk lampa av fantastiska elisa strozyk
"the pendant lamp "miss maple" is showing the use of a familiar material in an unconventional way. we usually experience wood as a plain surface, but here it is broken down into a grid of triangles. this makes a flexible lampshade which can be transformed manually in three-dimensional ways. while the lamp generates warm light at night the surface outside becomes more evident with daylight and turns the lamp into sculptural object."
